Plan Year 2024 Open Enrollment is a crucial period during which you have the opportunity to learn about employee benefits, updates, and changes. Enroll and Verify this year as we are conducting a Full Medical Dependent Eligibility Verification Audit for the 2024 plan year. Confirming only eligible dependents are covered under our health plan helps the District maintain cost effective pricing for all participants. Join us October 7th at the Open Enrollment Benefit Fair whether you are a walk-in or have an appointment! This will be the ONLY Saturday enrollment. Date: Saturday, Oct. 7th  Time: 8am-4pm Location: Schultz Center Medical Dependent Verification Audit (DVA):ALL Employees who have or want to add Dependent coverage to the DCPS Medical Plan, MUST see a counselor for an enrollment to be completed. Opt-Out Program

Declination of Healthcare Coverage

All benefit-eligible employees may elect to opt-out of medical insurance coverage during the annual Open Enrollment period – you must meet with a Benefits Counselor to opt-out and provide a completed Declination of Healthcare Coverage Affidavit.

Medical Plan Opt-Out Credit

Did you know? By declining Medical Coverage through DCPS, you are eligible to receive a credit of up to $1,200 annualized!

Note: If you choose to opt-out of medical coverage, you are still eligible for all other benefits.
